Desiccated coconut is shredded or flaked coconut meat. The flakes are then dried to remove moisture. With no additives or preservatives, desiccated coconut is the perfect choice for cooking and baking. Use this in your favourite cake or biscuit recipe. It also tastes great mixed with cereal or on smoothies.
Made out of mature Sri Lankan coconuts. The coconuts are granulated, dried and packed. A good quality desiccated coconut will be white in colour and have the sweet, natural and distinct aroma of coconut.
Free fatty acid (Oleic): 0.1% max.
Can be kept in a cool, dry place for up to 12 months.
Packed in 4-ply Kraft paper bags with inner Poly liner. 12.5Kg, 25 Kg or 50kg net per bag.
